Reading notes:
* Ai, 'Fate' - I found Ai Ogawa's poetry while I was on my program.
We visited the beautiful Poetry Foundation building in Chicago
and I stumbled upon her collection 'Killing Floor'.
** Booth, 'The Rhetoric of Fiction' - is theory that helped me get into teaching.
Everything is meaningful on the page, including what is not on it!
*** Bradbury, 'Fahrenheit 451' - Read for the first time earlier this year and the loneliness of this world felt close to ours.
**** Lispector, 'Near to the Wild Heart' - reminded me of my own debut novel in that it explores the contradictions and confusion of girlhood
...Lispector is a really beatufiul existentialist writer though.
